UPDATE ON THE 2013 MUDGEE SHOW

What a great year to be planning a show! The program is filling up so fast and the show is going to be huge! It’s exciting that we have so many buildings to take advantage of; that will also help to guarantee a fantastic show.

To kick it off, there's the full points rodeo on Friday night. Like last year, it will be held in the new sand arena, with the bar close by! Essential Energy, our generous sponsors, and the organisers, have a great event ready for you. The number of world renowned cowboys and cowgirls who will be in attendance is overwhelming! Main Arena activities will include the Trackskill V8 Race Ute Show. Other great entertainment and attractions are: Sand Sculpting, Toots magic, and inspirational performances by local dance schools, REPS, Dance Unlimited and Dance with Attitude.

Around the showground you will find a large number of commercial trade space exhibitors and showbag stalls, as well as special shows.

The ABC EXIBITION TRAILER promises something for everyone.
Experience the magic of the television chroma key and teleprompter in their digital TV studio. Fancy yourself as a future news & weather presenter? Here's your chance to practise your news and weather presenting skills. You can even host your own radio broadcast with loads of programs to choose from in the radio studio. And once you're done, you can even download your performance for free via the trailer website.

The new Exhibition Trailer also features 7 LED screens, a touchscreen to self navigate through documentaries, an iPad kiosk featuring iView and various apps, a new tablet registration system, the ABC shop online, ABC website stations, interactive games and more!

LEWIS' COMEDY PIG RACES: Screaming,hilarious fun with plenty of grunt - and that's just the humans! The fun begins in the naming of the pigs - from the classic 'Babe' and 'Trotter' to the cheeky 'Julia'. The hilarious chaos ends at the finish line with the First Prize winner and the loser laughing it out!

The kids will be involved in Junior Judging and the Junior Paraders and their families can also enjoy the animal nursery. Why not bring your family pet along for the Pet Show?


For a wonderful atmosphere and a relax, don’t miss the live music performances near the catering stands.

REPTILE SHOW
Especially exciting, for kids and grown-ups alike, will be the show by Crocodile Encounters!  Meet Dr Crunch and the team from Crocodile Encounters - they're bringing all their animals to the Mudgee show. It's going to be an interactive, educational, entertaining, and for some, terrifying, experience! And yes...the children do get to hold the animals....when safe to do so of course!
